I was asked by the Founder of BWFO to be the State Director for Michigan for 2008. I would like to hold that same position in this 2012 campaign. I love Obama and I believe in everything he stands for. I the last election I did not have as much time to dedicate to the election to work and many other responsibilites. Though I will be a greater assest as a Director this year because I am in a freelance position. I more time and energy. This will be another success for Obama and will play a great role in helping to getting him elected. Thank you for your consideration. Tamika Buckley

I want to thank Patrica Wilson-Smith of the Georgia chapter for letting me know I am not alone on this issue. In 2007, I was under the impression from my peers that this was not possible to have a President Obama. I learned later they had changed their tune. Again, I am receiving a negative response from my peers. I am proactive on this issue and hopefully with Patrica’s help, I’ll feel supported as well. Thanks for all those who created this group.
Is there a Chapter Director in Virginia? If so, how can I get in contact with her? There are some people in Bristol, Virginia that need information about this re-election.
I am excited to be part of this organization; I am an advocate for people with disability and veterans. I have mentor many young people and follow them through their life journey. I believe in my President and I will give him all the support that I can. Everything that the President is working towards will and has made my journey in life easier. Is there a Chapter Director in Florida, if so how could I get in contact with her.

About BWFO
Black Women for Obama is a grass roots organization dedicated to the re-election of Barack Obama in 2012. In the 2008 election, we played a pivotal role, especially in the southeast, canvassing and volunteering, and we plan to do so nation-wide in the months leading up to the 2012 election as well.
Joining the organization is free - click here for more information, or call us at 404.692.5251.
We are the voice of black women around the nation, who believe that America needs President Obama to stay right where he is.
