President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign intensified its rebukes of Mitt Romney Friday evening for a remark made by the presumptive Republican nominee about the president’s birth certificate earlier in the day.
Speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters in Commerce, Mich. — and noting the local roots shared by him and his wife, Ann — Romney quipped that “no one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place that we were born and raised.” Of course, Obama’s birthplace has been the subject of fervid (if wholly debunked) conspiracy theorizing in the years since he arrived on the national stage.
The Obama campaign responded with a 15-second attack ad posted to YouTube Friday evening — titled “America Doesn’t Need A Birther-in-Chief” — that recycles video of Romney’s joke, while a narrator intones, “Holding out hope Romney had a vision for the middle class? Think again.”

In April of this year, a rally was held on the steps of the Georgia State Capitol to protest the War on Women – a conservative operative videotaped portions of a speech given by the Executive Director of Black Women for Obama, Patricia Wilson-Smith. Her speech energized the crowd gathered there, and apparently made Conservatives a little nervous.
A little break from the norm, ladies! In this incredible piece from Melissa Harris-Perry of the MHP Show, she schools non-Black America on everything related to “our” hair! I guarantee you’ve never seen anyone break it down to our friends of other ethnic persuasions quite like this before! Melissa Harris-Perry’s wit, humor and genius are just some of the reasons why BWFO loves her!

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama has a new campaign slogan: “Forward.”
Obama’s re-election team unveiled its new motto in a video released Monday morning. The seven-minute video begins by recalling the grim state of the nation’s economy when Obama took office, then ticks through what the campaign says are the president’s accomplishments, both on the economy and other issues.
The campaign also uses the video to target congressional Republicans, saying Obama had to overcome GOP obstruction on Capitol Hill in order to pass legislation.
The video tries to make the case for Obama’s re-election by saying there is still more work to do going forward.
The campaign says the video will be played for supporters attending the president’s first re-election rallies Saturday in Ohio and Virginia.
