Incredible Georgia Town Hall!
On Saturday, July 28th, The Georgia Chapter of Black Women for Obama held its first-ever town hall meeting, and it was an amazing success!!!
Dignitaries from the DNC were in attendance, including Chairman Mike Berlon, and Political Director Rashad Richey. A number of candidates attended and discussed their candidacies with attendees as well, including Jennah Es-Sudan Gwinnett School Board Candidate, Renita Hamilton, District 105 State House candidate, any many others! The event was hosted by WAOK’s Sidney Wood, the voice of Atlanta, and introduced a number of the Black Women for Obama National Leadership Team to the crowd.
The Executie Director, Patricia Wilson-Smith also debuted her new book, “Believing in Obama:Essays from the Historic 2008 Election and Insights for 2012″ at the event. The meeting was informative, energetic, and inspiring – kudos goes to State Chapter Director Judy Jones and her team for the fantastic job they did on an incredible event!
